Probably the work of some left-wing, tree-hugging pinko commie do-gooder!

Me Too I was just wondering the same thing  I thought it should be left open longer. After all we must put up with those two Bozoz long enough.

We got a dusting last night, but Monday evening there is a big storm coming that will skirt the cape we are getting 6-8 but it could be much worse  My cousins once lived on a road called broadway in Brooklyn

The end of Brooklyn's Broadway is about a half mile from me, next to the Williamsburgh bridge.

Man you get freezing winter's up near the cape, worse than when I lived in Toronto

Yes , last year we had the 38 inch storm we were paralyzed  Im sure they deal with it better north of the border, but that one took us by surprise

I have absolutely no clue why it was closed...but thanks for drawing more attention to the great posts contained within it!

.....and by the way, the complaints submitted to the CBC must have had an impact - before last night when was the last Saturday night Leaf game without Cole and Neale in the booth?

Close that!

I knew there was a higher purpose to that other thread! I complained too, even though I'm south of the border, so hopefully we've got a united front on this issue. Otherwise this one might get shut down too

Definately was a communist inspired plot to demoralize the masses.

Has anyone ever logged a complaint with the ombudsman?

http://www.cbc.ca/ombudsman/

I actually received a response on the unfair schedule from the programming director,  he basically told me the leafs are the most popular and make the most profit.  When the hell did the CBC become a profit driven entity?  It cost taxpayers 2 billion dollars to keep the communist broadcasting network running, and that is with selling ad time.  The whole thing makes me sick.

Guys, the CBC is a hybrid. Part public-funded, part funded by ads...(just like nearly everything else in Canada). I'm not surprised they show Leaf games more than others. That's apparently what the people want.

It's a drag, because I do remember the days when you got more Habs games. But I don't think the CBC has any choice, unless they become fully public-funded, (which would apparently offend many of the same people who want more Habs games).

CBC apparently did a poll, in Ontario, to ascertain which was the favourite team and of course the result would be the Laffs!!!  Wonder why they didn't poll the other provinces.  Its obvious they had the result they wanted.  Should change the name to Toronto Broadcasting Co.
