Souray is back. How many shots did he get on net? He made some good defensive moves, and proved that he CAN keep up with the flow of the game. Just wanted to give some props to my favorite player.

Yes he has struggled at times this year, but it was reassuring nonetheless to have him back tonight . . . he played well also, which was very nice to see.

Yes, I was pretty impressed with the way Souray played tonight, especially knowing that he'll probably only get better. And what a difference he made, solidifying our defence, which was ultimately our downfall against Ottawa.

I would say our worst days are behind us, pretty much, and the team is going to start looking much better in the upcoming games.

I thought he had a pretty good game all things aside. Of course see what happens against LA. Now we will be icing the same team next game right ?? Koivu still out for a while and of course Kovy out

I think that he is a settling influence back there, even when he is struggling. He is experienced and the kids look up to him.

Two questions:

  1. After being tripped and driven into the boards, Souray left the bench.  Any idea if he was hurt, kinda hurt or just double checking?  Je ne parle pas le francais (Watched on RDS).
  2. Anyone else notice that when Souray winds up from the point, he isn't following through?  If it were baseball, I would almost say he was checking his swing.  Is he having some effects from his injury or is it more that he is just trying to direct the shot?
