One of our biggest assets is Theo to unload cap room and bring in key players! Why not trade him in a package and try to land a center, d-man and another goalie!

The trade I would consider looking at that is available is with a Luongo package and another is with Vancouver. How about Theo and maybe one of our checkers that have a little value for Cloutier, Jovanoski and Bertuzzi. That trade would fill our needs instantly!

The reason I'm picking on Theo(sorry johab) is that he has value and taking up cap room. You need to give value to get value! That would be the easiest way for Gainey to address the situation.

Cloutier has no confidence with canucks and needs a change just like Theo does as he has lost interest here. I say he would win just as many as Theo would and the shooters now know to just shoot high on Theo.

Look at what an elete player like Kovy has added! Bertuzzi and Jovo would also add alot not to mention muscle! Sure, Bertuzzi is in many bad books. I know for a fact he would make us all forget and forgive with what he would bring to the table!

I would do that trade in a heartbeat, but I don't see Vancouver parting with their power forward a goalie for Theo.

I don't think they would trade the rights to Dunc Wilson and 5 bucks worth of hamburger meat for theo, let alone those three.

I think Theo's gonna be hard to shift now. Goalies are like fish, the moment they go off, everybody in the room smells it

Nil, it has already been talked about on hot stove that Canucks would trade these players. Even if we have to sweeten the pot by throwing in Sundstrom or Begin with maybe Rivet, I think Gainey can make it happen. Like I said we have to give value to get value.

You're right so then we wait till Theo gets a little hot and goes on a little winning streak as he tends to do from time to time then trade him! He may not be bait yet but he is the closest thing we have to bring in and have cap room for elete players.

I made that same comment earlier tonight.  Good to hear getting Bertuzzi is a possiblility (yes, I have forgiven him).  How about throwing in Dagenais?  Hell, I'd throw him in twice if it would help! (Although it would likely be a "catch and release" - they'd throw him back!)

 LOL! That was really funny!

I don't think a team would want him but I could be wrong!

............ and he's saying "touch me" but both fielders are saying "no, no, no, come to the base, please, be our guest".

You know as a GM I do not think I would want to trade for Theo   big money and not consistant. Boy that Emery has been playing well as has the 40 year old club  Hasek and Belfour
