I don't get why this guy is still on the team all this time. At the time they should have kept Hainsey up with the club instead of Streit. Hold on to your number one picks. Hainsey was not worse then Streit.
Everytime this guy is on the ice we look like we are playing short handed. Now we lost Hainsey as result to keep this guy on the team. Not a good move by Gainey.
That is sort of what I was thinking. Now the next game will be with the same 5 d men right (cote) because I am not sure if Komi is coming back, and I am wondering if he does he may be pre occupied ala Souray if you know what I mean

The world is full of should'ves, would'ves and could'ves

Do you guys mean the Ottawa game??? Was he on the ice when the Sens scored????? Regarding Hainsey ... look at his +/- stats at Hamilton, do you really want this guy in the Habs lineup?
I agree Chris. Hainsey was not an effective player while up in Montreal or down in Hamilton. Nobody seemed to miss him in the lineup when he was playing for the 'Dogs. Right now I miss the regulars (ie. Souray, Markhov, Komisarek) not a guy that had more than enough chances to prove he could contribute.

i'm pretty sure the habs personel aren't that stupid to let someone go if they had any real chance of one day being an impact player....regardless of where hainsey was drafted it just didn't work out so it was time for both sides to move on, he was way to big of a defensive vulnerability
as for streit, he was obviously the better man or wouldn't have made the team, i am not a fan of streit either but do have some confidence in the decision makers in montreal to make simple observations on who is a better hockey player....streit /hainsey in this case they both suck and streit sucked less so he got the job
it is over, move on, we have to make do with what we got for now until everyone is healthy
