Markov was stupid to shove an official! Sure it needed to be done but realistically it should never be done!
Next to Kovy and Saks, Markov has been very valuable! It's going to hurt us big time! The defense will have to play mistake free without him and Theo stand on his head to have any wins the next three games!
As much as it's showing his desire to win and hate of losing, this was a brain cramp on his part! How do we win now with our Defense so thin of bodies and talent!
I don't want to hear that Souray will come back and be our saviour because he is way behind the 8 ball already and playing like a number six on many teams! Rivet has been our second most solid d-man but it is a far second behind Markov and he doesn't have half his talent!
I'm not saying that Markov is brilliant but has been very valuable to us thus far!

He wont be our saviour but he will HELP. I'm sure he watched the TOR game and is very pissed, ready to get back onto the ice and kick some butt!
I agree and said it before. Some have implied here that CJ shoudl have run across the ice chasing the officials after the game. Give me a break. Markov had no business being out there and Julien hollered repeatedly at him to get off the ice and Saks tried to get him. Bonehead and selfish move on Markov's part. I have been playing and coaching this game for 35 years now and have seen officiating calls MUCH worse then what I saw Saturday night. And I have never come close to laying a hand on an official. Have thete been times I felt they deserved it? Oh ya. Many times. Just like 2 weeks ago when this cop with a total attitude pulls me over for speeding (sorry David B) and then decides that he is going to write me up for a crack in my windshield. Why did I not hit or shove him? Duhhhhhh.
