Our Markov, their Redden
Permalink Closed

Turns out Ottawa will be without Redden tomorrow night. Hes still suffering from that groin injury. Hopefully Souray will be back for us because i know this team doesnt have the depth to cover souray AND markov. Dont even mention Striet. Hainsey is a big ? because i have never liked this guys play, he has no heart to me. If we're gonna win tomorrow its going to be a really high scoring game, and it will be a 1 goal game again. Montreal doesnt have to strength, fire power or finish to burry the sens, unless they have a terrible night. We are gonna need some bounces our way and the biggest thing is STAY OUT OF THE DAMN PENALTY BOX!!!! Giving ottawa a power play, you might as well add a goal to the board. Theo must have a good game, and i think we will know if he is or not early in the game. Sadly i wont be at the game i was a little late getting my ticket and they were sold out before i could get there. Oh well i can wait till january. Have fun Mario! and cheer extra loud for us while your there!!!

I really hope the Habs are not embarrased tomorrow night. If you look at our losses  3 to Leafs  , 2 already to Sens (and maybe 3) that is the majority of our losses.   We need a miracle to beat the Sens, can we do it without Markov,Souray Kovy ??? maybe yes but we need some help from up above.

Hopefully And-o's theory holds true and the Habs are out for revenge. And who better than to test it against Ottawa! I expect to see a good team out there and I'll go out on a limb here and say this will finally be a full 60 minute performance.

I definitely think there will be a full 60 minute performance, but with that being said I think we are going to do all we can just to get by withouth Kovalev, Markov, and (maybe) Souray. Even with these three players it will be difficult to beat Ottawa. I believe we will win tommorrow night, but it is going to be close and it is going to be very hard. Theodore is going to have to be very solid if we want to win, especially against Ottawa's first line of Alfredsson and Spezza.

Call me Crazy (ok Barry you are crazy) but I wish we would call up IVanis (not sure if he is good to go yet) and he would beat the crap out of Chara and/or McGratton. May be just what our team needs for a lift. I do know that one thing I feel we are really missing is a real physical presence lately. Teams are not scared to play us physically and that gives the opposition alot more room out there (and our skilled guys less room). I mean, really, who do we have out there physically now? Even begin has been non-existent as late in that department.

id really like to see a rematch of ivanans and Chara...that fight would be a lot better without the whole slip and fall routine. Talk about a heep of hype being worked up only to be dropped 3 seconds later in probably the most disappointing fights this year. If we dont win tomorrow, lets at least make them feel it after the game.
