And-o likes JohnM's idea of using Pleks in the number two slot with Ryder and Higgins.

That would leave Saku skating with Zednik and Perezhogin...and Bonk with Bulis and Sundstrum.

And-o would use Ribeiro on PP spot duty and perhaps lead a solid line with Begin and Dagenais (sorry Steve)!

...if things went poorly...or when a shake-up was required...Pleks and Bulis could easily shift around through the various lines.

At any rate though.....all of this shuffling around is only masking the problem!!!

Gee- do you thinsk the Montreal Medial will actually allow Ribs  to be used so sparingly? I think CJ better ask permission first lol. Seriously if there is any ONE thing I wish CJ would do is something with Ribiero. By the way tell me this. Has anyone here wondered why fans that booed Brisbeois so mercilessly, and french media who never wrote anything nice about the guy his last couple years, have NOT yet turned on Ribiero??! At least Breezer contributed a little something and showed that he actually wanted to win.

Hey...And-o LOVED what Breezer brought to the table.....he just absolutely needed a change of venue.

In fact, I wish Breezer (and all of Habdom) could have buried the hatchet and worked things out.

Funny thing...the Habs sure coud use a guy like Breezer now!

In Montreal, its all about "the glory". They like offensive players. Defensman have never been all that interesting to the french fans. They want Ribero to be the next "capitian" of Les habitants. So Breezer was just never all that importnat anyway. And that is the reason.

(Thing is, what Brisebois brought was decent offensive skills. It was in his own end that he would get lost and run around trying to hit people, or get lost and not hit people, as the case may be.)

I've been calling for Plekanec or Bonk on the second line for a while now. Ribeiro is not pulling his weight. And he knows it too. I don't even think he'd be surprised or put out at this point.
