Does anyone know the stats on shots on goal per team and where we sit?
It seems like we outshoot our competition by alot even in games we lose. A couple factors that probably contribute to this is we have the skill but no finish and our goalies are being outplayed on a regular bases!

Go to http://www.nhl.com click on stats, and on the right side in the team comparrison pick outshoot/outshot. Then sort the columns by sf/g and/or sa/g
To make a long story short - Shots for: 32.0-5th and Shots against: 26.9-6th. Shots against goes lowest to highest.

Thanks Heet, it's always nice to see posters with a little more "prowess on da net" come to someone's request for info and how to find it. We rely a lot on some posters for info on anything hockey related... SpideyNl keeps us informed daily, and although not recognized often, I'm sure many posters appreciate it. BUT, DON'T EVER MAKE SPELLING MISTAKES WHEN POSTING.... IT WILL SURE BRING BACK "GRAMMARMAN"

Grammarman has been given a golden handshake and has gone into early retirement. I have not seen him lately, but rumours of his frequenting the Casino and red-light district are greatly exaggerated.

Oops, "comparison". Actually, you will be hard pressed to find someone that hates misspelling as much as I do. I will often open MSWord and type out words to use the spell check. Sometimes when I have the urge to say something like "ain't got no", I can almost feel my parents smacking me in the back of the head. Oh, and NOHF, you should have wrote "IT WILL SURELY". lol
AB - No problem. I had just been looking for the same information only two days ago. I have always been interested in those obscure, my wife calls them meaningless, stats.

I should also point out that I spell Heat as a nickname incorrectly, intentionally. It is in reference to a product line that I once used in a previous incarnation as an explosives technologist. When I was still there, I used it for login purposes and since I fear change, I have used it since.
