Have to disagree with you there. He looks ok, give him some time. He's still a kid and it's his first year in the NHL. He has some slick moves and has no steady linemates. He went through an illness and I expect him to be a 20 goal scorer for the Habs, not this year of course.
MUCH MUCH stronger on his skates than Petrov. Harder to knock off puck generally. Also more selfish and with more nasty streak than Petrov, but since we need goalscorers and grit that could be a good thing.
