But add your feelings over the last week to your feelings in the previous weeks and average it out...
You still wind up with a hell of a lot more excitement than you've had in years, and hope has crept back in your hab-hardened hearts
Just the fact that you're all disappointed now means that the high was all that much better when life was cruising along nicely
If you need a little comfort, look back at any great Habs team from the past. Go over the record that year, and you'll see not one, but several sagging stretches.
No one even gave these guys a chance this year, and look at their record. There's still loads of games left, and I don't see that many other teams in the current lineup that have impressed me as much as this years habs.
Knock on individual players if you want (*streit must go*), but not the team, and certainly not CJ or BG, who have practically fed the masses with a couple of loaves and fishes
Thanks so much brooklyn. We have let our emotions get the best of us and started panicking. There are lots of games left and our team will find ways to win even with our suspect goalies. We can all remember games which the Habs stunk out the arena yet they went on to win the cup or at least finished in the top of the league. Lets have faith.
you will not only hear amen but a big sigh of relief whan souray gets back to form from 2 yrs ago. will that happen??? who knows but i do know he is very valuable on the pp if he gets going. last night he looked uninterested and he stood around especially on 3rd goal. thast being said i have no problem sitting him for a game to send a message. with or wothout him we will lose anyway so bring up a youngster to take his place after all TO and SENS this week
