That is what I am trying to say, yet barry is all over me I am intitled to my opinion. we can agree to disagree but as I posted earlier I am concerned for the free fall and being beaten by the doormat of the NHL. And Barry the Habs are not the Laughing Stock of Habs fans but of leafs fans I guess i di not make myself clear. They had the last laugh OKOKOK

I agree. Lets bring in Jarvis and see iof he can wake these guys up. We have 14 wins where we have no business having 14 wins. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to get BG to get some T-A-L-E-N-T!

Julien is a very good coach and I really don't believe he is the problem. It's a lack of a whole team effort, as we all know, and like Barry's said many times before, it's not the coach's job to motivate these guys. Julien is capable of winning a Stanley Cup IF HIS PLAYERS WILL PERFORM! He's a very good coach and I would hate to see him go.

Hey guys lets put things in perspective, were a middle of the division team, we will be hard pressed too make the playoffs. The great start will help, but losing games like we did the last two nights won't help. Jersey was missing there 3 best offensive players (Elias, Mogilny and Langenbrunner) and Washington is the weakest team in the entire league. Ovechkin didn't even score. Yes I hate when the Habs lose, because i hate losing myself when in competition, but remeber we are an average team who has been playing very well. I hate saying it but the leafs will have a better shot just because they have consistent goaltending. Belfour again tonight was solid, yes they won 5-1 but were outshot again, and outchanced. I have a bad feeling about the following week especially tuesday against the tharshers, and also the Leafs in Toronto Saturday night. Please Ghosts of forum and every where else prove me wrong (especially against the buds)

Ray- I agree. There is no question that up until lately we have been overachieving and now there are serious holes in our roster being exposed. We can plame last night's loss in Danis but it goes deeper then that when you only score one goal. Allow me to address our most blatant needs:

1) 1-2 quality NHL defenceman. One needs to be a quarterback type for the Power Play. Now why did Gainey not get one of those in the off season you ask? Because Souray used to be that guy. Do you recall his prowess on the power play before the lockout? He was to us what McCabe is to the Leafs this year. Souray could move the puck, had a cannon for a shot, and took command back there. I am not sure where that Souray is but I suspect his head is in La La land or at his lawyer's office. A pure shame because Sheldon HAS the tools. By the way for those who question why we use Streit? If not Streit who? Yes he made a bad mistake last night on the 5th goal (but that was more Danis'fault than Streit's). But right now Streit is the ONLY guy we have who can carry the puck up ice along with Markov. Streit can skate I will give him that and I have seen improvement as he gains confidence.

2) Another center. French media here me. ENOUGH of the Ribiero love fest. He sucks. Period. He is soft on the puck, he makes poor decisions and he cannot win a face off if his life depended on him. On top of that he does not have a defensive bone in his body. And no Bonk is not the answer. I loev Bonk for what he is being used for. Penalty Killing and defensive purposes. But offensively he has not shown me that he could hit the ocean off the end of a pier. But all the other things he brings to the table makes him a good fit in our lineup as a number 3.

In closing let me say this. The Wings have now lost 4 in a row. I highly doubt that their websites are as negative as ours and I supsect that Mike Babcock's job is pretty secure. We need to make some adjustments and like life, sometimes you need to hit rock bottom before you start the climb back.

see barry we can agree, no matter what you think of my opinions. #1 need is a quarteback for pp. i thought souray would have been the one, but he has yet to show up.if you could get goals on a few of the 12 pp game, we would be doing quite well. second an additional d man for depth ala robinson, bouchard, lapointe savard. remember those years we were a powerhouse on d. we were feared for our d men. then we need a ctr man to get things moving. how can i say this the habs are like someone who is constipated they need some ruffage 2 d man one ctr to get things exciting and moving again ty by the way barry i saved post 400 just for you
