Thanks 4 the stats guys, but, as i see it, Bonk hasn't lived up to my expectations yet and I think that trade maybe wasn't that great. If Huet pans out this year and Danis proves he's a a calibre NHL'er, then i stand corrected. But, to me, Bonk seems to be average... maybe other posters who have seen more games than I have may have different opinions about him, which I'd like to hear your thoughts. I think that we have to keep in mind that we acquired Bonk as a two-way player. Granted, he has only been playing one of the two ways well, but the Habs have up-front depth that they arguably haven't had in decades. Even though Bonk hasn't been producing offensively, he has been reliable defensively. Role/character players are key.
The Habs have always been a D-first organization -- and they should stay that way.
