Injuries happen...and a few guys have clearly been playing hurt/sick this past week...by rolling all four lines and keeping the icetime down CJ has kept the Habs playing well!
With back-to-back games, I think limiting the top lines to 14-15 minutes per night has made all the difference. We have the depth...why not use it!?!?!? Well done Claude!
...this week is going to be a real test though for the Habs...let's hope Bonk and Bulis can make it back into the line-up...and I hope Begin is feeling better as well.
Tampa Bay...Pittsburgh...and Toronto all require an effective checking line in order to have a chance to win!
There have been complaints here that he does not use the youngsters like Perez and Higgins enough. I like how he uses the young players. He does not want to put them under too much pressure too fast. Ease them in. The good thing is that they are gaining experience but not baptism by fire and I think that will help their careers. Now he has the luxury of using them a bit more an dthey can step up. I am a firm believer in bringing prospects along slowly and easing them into key situations.

I guess I agree with that, although I was surprised that Perez. got demoted when he had been doing so well on the top line. But it seems to be working, so more power to Julien.
With Bulis and Bonk out, maybe here's a chance to give Perezhogin some more P.T.
