Does anyone else think Kovalev has almost magical moves and skill. Yet still looks a little uninspired at times. I notice at times if he makes all those moves and then loses the puck, he just gives up and stands around.
Is that because he is so good that he just knows how to conserve his energy? Don't get me wrong, I think the guy is outstanding. Just an observation.
Having seen him about 20 times at Madison Square garden It's crazy how he brain-farts sometimes. He did it a couple of times last night. But when he was with the Rangers, it was nightly, enough to get the fans screaming at him, and not in a good way
It's wierd, too. He will have it happen right in the middle of a great run up the ice, and then just wander off the play...
But he more than makes up for it when he's on. I guess he's just recharging the magic wand or something
