Because in the past he has been an idiot. HAve you forgotten the incident he had with Koivu during practice a couple years ago? Like it or not Ribs has carried the selfish tag since his days in Junior. The fact that he seems to be fitting in now would indicate that he has changed for the better.

Because of his inconsistant play (same reason some won't get off Theo's back this year) though for Ribs it is his bad D coverage. Only 4 players on the Habs are - in +/- this season - Ribs, Dags, Ryder and one D (think it's Bouillion). Anyway, I dont really hate him but wish he'd smarten up some.

The media tries to twist it that way sometimes too though...exagerates feuds between team members, blows things way out of proportion (a la Ribs-Koivu thing) but I'm sure the reality of it is everyone is really tight. Seems like an awesome team atmosphere, I forgot which newcomer said it, but they said that they really felt part of the family.

i think it was dandenault that said that but i'm not positive either.

team chemistry seems to be higher than it has been in years and is probably the the main reason why we are coming out on top of so many 1 goal games.
