Bulis has speed but thats it as far as offence goes, hes fine where he is in a D role. he gets chances there and doesn't convert them into goals its not going to change if hes on the 2nd line.

Well i think you're wrong dude,if he would be on second line,he wouls be playing more and that would develop more his skill has a scorer. I mean what have perezhogin or plakenac have done in the last 5 games....i mean just give him 10 games or so on 2nd line then we will see..he has the skills

For Bulis to be on the second line he would have to be a scorer...which he really is not. He can create chances, plays great d, has a cannon, but just can't get it on target. If he could, he'd be one of the top forwards in the NHL.

Bulis has been tried on both first and second lines many times over the past few years. The common denominator is that he is always revealed to be a mediocre offensive player. He helps with his speed and energy, but he lacks the release and touch to be a big goal-scorer, and also (maybe a function of his speed and effort) is rarely in synch with his linemates. I like him too, but he is a big tease in the offense department.

I say it's great that we have one of the best 3rd lines (Buils w/Bonk and either Begin or Sundstrom) in the NHL and leave it at that.
