I would love to see Luongo in a Habs uni! This guy is a huge reason that Florida come away with a point. Remember the rumours last month, Theo for Luongo. No way that would ever happen straight up. Theo's value is going down hill ( inconsistancy) .

Very few goalies are doing well this year.  I think it's time we cut Theo slack.  He's not perfect but effective.  He's frustrating to both his fans and his opponents.  But he's actually performed better than plenty of others.  So let's focus on the real problem - ineffective PP/PK and bad penalties.

I agree with Figaro. Every goalie is a little shell-shocked this year, including Theo. But we've all seen what he can do, and he showed some of his magic again vs. Florida last night. Yeah, he let some get by him, but two of them went between his arm and body -- he was in the right position to make the saves but the pucks had eyes and the goals were a little lucky. you may recall that Theo made some unbelievable saves late in the game to give the Habs a chance to tie -- when the D was nowhere to be seen. Give this guy all our support and I think time will show that he's still one of the very best in the game.

In the meantime, the only team with a better record than the Habs (Les Wings) is doing it with patience offensively and a smothering defense that doesn't take a lot of unnecessary (i.e. offensive zone) penalties. When the Habs can do the same, it'll make Theo's job a lot easier.

Les Canadiens sont la!
