What do the insturctions mean when it says to "specify a URL" when setting an avatar?  I cannot for the life of me figure this out.  God I'm stupid.

This means if the image is uploaded to a website and you want to link directly to it, you would put the website link there.

When you see the pic you want for your avatar right click on it and go to properties. You'll see a Address (url) in there of the pic, copy it, and paste it into where it says specify the url. You then should be good to go.

you can also make your own and host it with photobucket, etc
