Montreal was better!

Watched the game last night. Waited to see what everyone thought. From what I saw Montreal was the better team. That Lindqvist(Sp?) goalie just outshined our goaltending and that is all( Theo really). Lets see.... Montreal outplayed Toronto and lost( Belfour outshined). Montreal outplayed Ottawa first game and lost( Emry outshined). And then last night. How is it that Theo is an elite goalie worth 5.5 mil/yr? Oh I forgot he had one stellar game against Ottawa the other night. I guess one great game in 10 is well worth it.

on a positive note Ribero was awsome last night. Taking the body, making great plays, spotting his wingers. I especially like his consistency. You know....disapearing for almost an entire game and then scoring two goals. Then like magic you don't see him for 5-6 games. Then poof....out of nowhere comes the "polish prince" to score his magical goals. This kind of magic should come in handy in the playoffs. So unpredictable that guy. wow!

I felt NY played like the Habs did against the Sens. They moved the puck out of their own end faster. The d men headmaned the puck better. We had some good chances but they were stopped. We have a tough night and in fact a tough week ahead. I will go out on a limb and sat we win in a shootout against NY, Beat FAL 4-2 beat the Sabres 4-1 then 5-3   we will see. I say the gods are with us and we get 8 points. 11-3-1

First off, he's Portuguese, not Polish.

Secondly, most of the Habs roster stunk it up for long stretches of the game. Ribs did have some strong shifts where he showed his vision. The guy has back-to-back 2 goal games, has a bad night, and we take a long, hot, streaming dump on him. Everyone is entitled to bad games. Wait until the end of the season to pass judgement.

And you say that I need glasses!!!

That game represented the classic let-down following a huge match-up versus a division rival PERIOD

The Habs put in an honest 20'ish minutes...that doesn't cut it versus most NHL teams!

...our guys need to respond tonight!
