Ok..lets play a game of which NHL coach will be the first casuality this season...there are several possibilities however, for the sake of making this simpler (because it is obvious we have alot of simple people on this board lol), here are the nominees.."Vanna, the envelope Please"!
Craig McTavish- currently in a 5 game losing streak. Oilers went out and got alot of talent this year and they do not seem to be responding
Larry Robinson- Personally disagree with this nomination but given the Devils' record and Lou Lamourellou's similarity in coach realtions to George Steinbrenner, I can only assume the old trigger finger is getting itchy
Eddie Olcyk- Pens have a ton of talent up front and suspect goaltending and defence right now. However they are a MUCH better team than the record shows right now and it is very apparent that Eddie O does not have the coaching pedigree and experience (hell he has NO experience) to get this team going (see Mario Tremblay)
And finally, last, but certainly not least, Mike Sullivan of the Broons. May have bought some time last night with a 2-1 win over the Laffs. But certainly Harry Sinden does not mind saying to coaches "Don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out"
My personal pick is Eddie O has got to go.
