Thanks Rivet for giving the puck up at the line and Thanks Souray for Being undresses like a rented mule by Spezza Thats all I have to say. Too bad theo had a great game only to be let down by these two
David0 please do not blame either one of those guys..Rivet wa strying to keep the puck in like he should have been...you have to go for the 2 points and take a chance..as for Souray..I would give my next paycheck to see ANY dman in the league stop that move by Spezza.

I think it was actually Zednik who mishandled the puck on both the Sens last two goals. I will chalk it up as rust. But you're right Barry, nobody stops that move. Nobody.
Ok, I stand corrected I just feel awful bad for Theo who played the best gane of the year. Could he finaly be finding it. I wish Souray would somehow get the hard accurate shot he had two years ago. I guess now I can understand why he has been mediocre
I was listening to Murray Wilson on CJAD and he felt that Souray and Rivet had been on the ice too long which could have accounted for the goal. He felt that Spezza would have beaten any D-man with the moves he made for the goal. Ottawa is a very powerful team and it seems we ran out of steam in the last part of the game. Good to see Zednik back, and Ryder and Riberio playing well. Back home against the Rangers-GO HABS GO!!!
As I stated in another thread, I thought this was Souray's best game this year and he logged a tonne of ice. There is nothing wrong with our D's play to date. Markov has been excellent and quietly Rivet is having his best games in a Hab's uniform. Komo continues to get more ice and confidence. Boullion may be our best all round defenseman , while Dandy and Streit have been only average. I really like the shape of our team. If tonight is any indication....Theo is back!!
