From what I've seen so far, I am not a fan of Mark Streit. They've been using him on the point on the power play, and being a left-handed shot playing the right point, he's been scraping the puck off the boards on his backhand all night. I noticed they took him off the PP in the third period. I like Bouillon on the point; the little cube's a ball of fire out there!
Great game tonight. Well done, RIbeiro! And Theo played a good game too. Not severely overtested, but no chance on either goal. And the Habs completely shut down Forsberg. Sixth one-goal win out of seven overall. Well done, Kardiac Kids!

I agree partly about striet, hes not great out there but i like the fact that he shoots alot if he was blessed with Sourays shot he would be awsome, maybe he should teach souray to play the point. Give striet a bit more of a chance hes battled hard his whole career he was always told he wouldn't make it and still found a way to excel lets hope he does it in the NHL.
On a side note we have two up and comers who will be QBing the point for years to come. Corey Locke has some of the greatest passes ive ever seen and a great shot. He makes the passes most NHL players don't dare attempt. Cross crease and saucer passes seem to be his forte. Andre Beniot also has a wicked shot and some great passes. Beniot is very similar to Leetch. In hamilton hes always sneaking in from the point and taking a great pass from Locke and scoring.
More importantly, we need to position someone...probably Bonk or Begin in front of the net. On all occasions but one(Kovy's deflection), Eshe had clear views of the shots. It may be time to put Kovy or Saku back there to change things up too. Kovalev is proving why many call him the most skilled player in the league. His puck handling, turning on a dime, and his shot put him in a class of his OWN.
Nil, agreed! Boullion ( and what a cube he is!) Bulis, Begin are just something for us Habs fans to be proud of. I have been nervous with Ribeiro but have to admit Souray makes me more nervous right now...can we say giveaway? I've always been a Sheldon fan and have to believe he'll hit his stride in the "new NHL"...we need the size and heart that he's shown before (and Sheldon, PLEASE complete your checks!)

Exactly, he was always in his whole career 'written off', and then came back even much stronger. At least he was on the ice when Ribeiro scored the OT goal ....
Btw, I can't recall when the Habs last beat Philly ... they used to loose ... but this year seems to be different. I knew the new NHL style would suit the elegant skating skilled Habs!!!!
