Satan has 264 career goals, and I swear he has about 200 of them against the Habs! Even with Buffalo, he scored against us all the time.
Entertaining game so far (2-2 after 2) - Habs should be ahead about 5-1 with all the chances they've had. Bulis! For all you old-timers, does he remind you of Russ Courtnall? Skate like the wind, great shot, but can't seem to find the back of the net too often.
Go Habs! Kill'em in the third!

IF WE ONLY HAD A SECOND LINE SCORING CENTER INSTEAD OF A FANCY BOY... MY GOD WHERE IS RIBERO????? HONESTLY, ALL IS WELL IN HAB LAND IF WE COULD REPLACE RIBERO WITH A REAL SECOND LINE CENTER( AND MAYBE IF THEO OUTPLAYED THE OPPOSITION GOALIE FOR ONCE). THEO HAS BEEN GOOD BUT SO FAR OUTPLAYED BY DEPITRO, EMERY, BELFOUR AND ARGUABLY RAYCROFT DESPITE THE WIN.
I CAN LIVE WITH THEO---I SEE THE POTENTIAL IN THAT GUY. RIBERO ON THE OTHER HAND IS ONE OF THE ONLY HAB PLAYERS, SINCE I BEGAN WATCHING, THE HABS THAT IS SOOOOOOO OVER RATED IT IS UGLY TO WATCH.
YEP, IF ONLY WE HAD A SECOND LINE CENTER WE WOULD BE UP 5-2 AT THIS POINT. HOW LONG BEFORE BG AND CJ MAKE A MOVE ON THIS??
The only thing with this is, what do we get back. I agree the Ribeiro is a little disappointing, but what are the other clubs willing to give up for him? If we can see his faults, don't you think that the other GM's around the league can too?
Good point. I severely doubt we would get anything for him. I do think Ribero has SOME talent so maybe wait until Zed comes back and put him on that second line. Perhaps that is the spark Ribero needs( Although I still think he needs at least 75 points to make up for his other laughable traits).
Bottom line is no one wants a 50 point floater with no other transferable skills. Some have argued putting him on the fourth line but COME ON. The fouth line is a utility line meant to grind it out and not get scored on!!!. Ribero is no good on either the third( checkingl ine) or fourth line( grind line). So we are stuck with him as second line center until he either loses the position to Higgins or Plekanac or he breaks out. My fear is that he never was that good in the first place.....and-o ( whisper)... On the other hand Koivu is proving what a true leader is all about and that HE IS A FIRST LINE CENTER.
