yes he has been solid D-man so far and i hope he continues to do so. it´s nice to see cause he´s not the fastest guy on our roster and i would say that good timing and positioning has been the two main things for him this season, cause those two things i noticed when he was playing here in Finland last season cause here the rink is wider as forwards is mainly small sized an fast skaters.

I remember posting that Rivet would be terrible because of his lack of skating and ice vision but he has adjusted OK. Souray on the other hand has been terrible!

It's funny the games I've watched it seems like Rivet isn't even dressed or playing. He has no points but is +2 and not trying to do more than he is capable. Maybe that is why he is so invisible. He's playing within his means.

Every team needs role-players. I have no problem with Rivet going the whole season without a point as long as his +/- continues to increase.

Rivet is also ranked first on the team in blocked shots with 8 and fourth on the team in hits with 11. He's definetly underappreciated in the role he has.

Oh ya and now he's a +3 so tied first on the team in that.
