I think everyone knows my take on McRib, he had a great year 2 years ago but then bailed in the playoffs. He is just a stop gap until someone else can fill in, give it time. We don't want to put too much pressure on the kids and ruin their progress. Like someone else posted the team is 2-3 years away from what BG wants.

Ribs should hit the weights. Let's face it,it won't make him any slower than he is but damn he could use some strength. I just saw him interviewed and even in full equipment he is so slight.

I think it is telling that he is not on the list of Canadian Olympic Team hopefuls. Ryder, Souray and Theo are.

Kinda funny that he scored that goal almost 10 mins after I posted that( although I honestly think it was going in anyway!!). In any case I still stand by my post. He just plays like he is trying out for the ice capades. No body positioning, no hitting, no taking a hit to make a play(like plek did), no defensive abilities, no leadership abilities. He just gets alot of ice time because CJ has no choice but to play him so he gets the odd point here and there. Big Whoop. Barry33 said it before and it is sooooooo true. He would have to get 40 goals/90points to make up for his glaring weakneses.

As for him not making the list for the olympics. I don't think he was even close to a consideration. I mean not even in close range here. I would be suprised if his name even came up in conversation...unless as a joke.
