Post prediction, game notes and pre-game comments.  Once the game starts, I'll close the thread and open a new one to discuss the game.

Lines should be the same as the end of Saturday night's game, with Dags on the 4th and Plekanec (pronouced Plekaness) on the 2nd I believe.  Theo to start.  I predict a more productive game for the Habs and since I cannot bring myself to predict a loss, I'm feeling like a 4-2 for Montreal.  Bonk, Kovy, Plek and Dags (empty net ).  Shots in favour of the quicker, more skilled Habs, 30-24, and 2PP goals for, 1 against.

This game will either bring about an end to our goaltending problems...or it will elevate them to new levels!

...I really hope ALL our guys contribute.

(Watching the Rangers play again last night makes me think that our players are not a problem!  How on Earth did Gainey give both Hossa and Ward away while icing the likes of Dagenais on the second line???)

I agree with you Figaro except for Dags scoring and empty-netter, as that would mean he is out there defnding a lead and I don't see that happening.  I give that goal to Koivu.

Boys..get OVER HOSSA AND WARD!!!! They are gone. Where was Hossa the last 3 years when he had all kinds of opportunity to prove himself?! Hmmm??? So h ecomes into camp this year and shows a quarter effort. Now he is in NY and know sthis is his last chance to prove himself so all of a sudden it is "Oh....I better start trying now or I will be in the minors forever". Give me a break!! All he has shown is that he is a floater and has a lack of character. Perfect fit in a Rangers uni.

Barry33. Finally someone who recognizes that character is way more important than anything else in this "team" game. Guys Hossa sucks even if he scores 30 goals this year. He is a little whimp with the heart of a gnat. Ward is a solid competitor but needed a shot somewhere else. Hw would have been a fourth liner in Montreal with very little potential to improve on that. Perhaps a cahnge of scenery will do him some good...that's alright by me becuase he would never have done it in Montreal( he had 5 years here!).

So barry33 is right, why is everyone so punch drunk on those two guys? Especially Hossa?

5-2 Habs with empty netter..Kovu gets one, Kovalev 2. Theodore stops a few without kicking the puck out to a Bruins sweater everytime.
