 If I were to trade a potential long term mistake like Theo if he flops for the first 40 games or so, I would consider Pens. They are in need of an established goalie. Theo for Marc-Andre Fluery and Pallfy or Tarnstrom.


 Then play Danis and Fluery evenly until one outshines the other for number one goalie.


 First though, like I said, give Theo a chance to earn his big contract by mid season.

I think giving theo 30-35 games to rebound is fair After that who could defend him ??

Too soon for a big trade like that (unless we get Sid out of it somehow!!!)  Plus, that would leave us with like 5 young top notch goalie prospects.  I don't think Pittsburgh would go for it because Tarnstrum is pretty good (more valuable than Palffy) and Theo is a high price tag.  We need to ride out the storm before we get to smooth sailing
