Stats don't lie

According to the statistics which don't lie the weak Habs players to date are Souray, Ribs, Dags, Ryder and Theo.

Kovy, Sak, Pleks, Rivet, Markov, Begin have been the strongest so far.

We lost 2 games so far which could've easily have been won so we aren't doing that badly. If the 5 players can pick up their play and we get Zed back we'll be ok.

I'm not sure why you pick on Ryder (as have others already) - he scored the winning goal in half the Habs' victories to date, and has 3 goals in 6 games - on a pace for 41 goals.  What's wrong with that?

I was referring to +/- and overall play. I think he will be fine, just needs new linemates or his current ones to pick up their play.

Regarding his linemates, I'm fine with keeping Ribeiro there as long as he starts producing. It's Dagenais that looks out of place. I want to see him off that line ASAP.

...there are lies, damned lies...and stats!

...and since you brought it up...Kyle Wellwood has the same number of points...a better +/- rating...far less ice-time...far worse wingers...and one less game under his belt...than our "#1" guy!!!

Yeah...and And-o needs glasses!?

...let's just hope that Theo can get back on track and the teams depth can keep shining!

Kyle Wellwood may have the same number of points but thats because right now they are inflated from a 9-1 win over Atlanta, at the end of the year Saku will have more. Wellwood is getting lots of powerplay time and is getting a decent amount of ice time. Saku is a great player and is playing very well so far, if he keeps playing like this i will be happy.
