1.  Theo totally sucked AGAIN.....this kid could soon be tradebait!

2.  Lindros bags 2....name the centreman who matched up against him - THATS RIGHT...You guessed it...SAK-WHO!  Is that mismatch not obvious to anyone else?

Good one And-Who. Lindros he got two goals cause Theo blew 'em. Sak wasn't even on the ice. Were you watching the same game?

I'm not too sure of any teams that would want Theo and his 5 million with the salary cap . . . I'm afraid we're stuck with him

...don't defend the guy - it just makes it worse!

Imagine if Sundin had been in the line-up???  Would it have even been close???

Bonk can pretty much shut down anyone...but we need to lose either Saku Smurf or Mikey Mouse (you all decide...and surprise me)...cuz this team gets beat like rental cars up the middle!

Spezza and Alfy...now Lindros...next Sundin...then Forsberg.  Bonk is just what I wanted...but we need to upgrade one more...it is soooo obvious.

HEY JOHNM....If And-o is wrong....WHY does it keep happening?????

Why does what keep happening? We've lost 2 games this year. I don't think you can put the blame on Sak for either game. I see you've been waiting for something to call out Sak, at least wait for a reason. Call the game as it was and I won't defend anyone.

Bonk was out there, I didn't see him do much.

I suggest you watch the game again, it replays on RDS and put your glasses on this time.

I really cannot blame Koivu. YOu are putting too much emphasis on the Centerman against Lindros. What I saw were Habs Dmen (helllloooooooo Souray) standing around watching the Leafs. Maybe it is fear of the new rules. The Tucker goal was pathetic. He could have sat and read a book waitining for the puck.

As for Theo, I said it when we were trying to sign him. He is so inconsistent it is totally pathetic. To be a premiere keeper in this league you need to not only make the big saves but you need to control your rebounds and make the routine stops. Theo's rebound control has been pathetic. Johab, as a fellow goalie, I ams ufre you can see Theo fighting the puck on every shot. He just looks uncomfortable. Hopefully it is tremporary.

Pleeze Ando, your critizism of Saku is becoming a pain to say the least.  Tor has a much larger team than Mtl and Saku was not outplayed by any opposition player tonight. He is the heart and soul of this team and definitely was not the reason Mtl lost tonight.

As much as I dislike Lindros, he had a very good game and took advantage of Theo's big rebound.  Balfour was the difference (shots 21-31 Mtl) and as you will admit, a good performance by a goalie will win you a game on any given night.  Mtl won in To and lost at home so it is 1-1 on the season.  Canadiens are 4-2 on the season so not too bad a start. I am disappointed they lost but it was a entertaining game especially the hits on Tucker by Komisarek.
As usual, the refs had their influence on tonight's game.  Made a couple of questionable calls (Tor took advantage) which seems to happen when Tor is involved.(Do all the refs come from the Toronto area?)

what costed us was losing the draw on the last goal when the leafs first centremen was throw out... and secondly begin had a chance to chip the puck out of harms way on the second goal for the leafs.  Imagine if they had Sundin, yes we were without Zed but he is no where near the talent of Mats.  And our powerplay is awful, yes we got one goal on it but Belfour is the worst goalie in the league at handling the puck.  Just another thought dress 7 d-man sitting out Dagenais, maybe Streit can just play the powerplay

And-oYou fool. The checking line was put up against Lindros. Theo just sucked big time. Wake up my friend.  Montreal out shot them 31-21.

This obsession with a big number one center. Far as I'm concerned this is a red herring. Obviously it's nice to have a big dominant center, but you can win without it.

Exhibit a) the Red Wings, who matched up Larionov against Lindros and destroyed the Flyers not so long ago. It's precisely Bonk who failed to deal with Lindros on at least one of those goals. I'm not trying to diss Bonk, and I do think it's worth thinking about putting him on the second line. But complaining about Saku's play this season? Please.

Theodore, however...this is something to worry about.
