It looks like the dust hasn't settled on the new CBA. Hockey's minor league's are sueing the NHL over the new CBA. The new cba states that minor league players that make more than 75000 if called up to the NHL will be subject to waivers. This had the result of imposing a salary cap of 75000 on the minor league players.
This latest development, with the Ted Saskin leadership question means that the dust hasn't completely settled on the NHL and it's new CBA.
