No disrespect intended just needed a topic that would draw people in :)


The annoncers are terrible for Atlanta first they say that Montreal is a one line team. Then they say Atlanta has the best two lines in the NHL. Then the talk about how after playing back to back teams usaually come out flying but by the fourth period they become tired. Maybe im not clear on the new rules, Is their now a fourth period?

No offense taken, these two are some stupid people. Where do they get these guys. Last night I was pissed because the home opener was not televised. Now i got to watch these two birdbrains. Im ready to put on CJAD

If you understand French, the best coverage is on 730 AM (station is called Chorus Quebec.)  The announcers are Habs fans, sure, but they also love hockey and you can tell.  They are honest, they credit both teams for good play and fry the bad play, no matter who it is.  They echo a lot of what I read here, so they must be right on.

I know, those announcers know nothing about hockey. "Now with Zednik out, they're a one line team, when he comes back they'll be a two line team" what?? and his statement about the thrashers having the best line in the nhl "now with kovalchuk back, he's on a line with bondra and savard, probably one of the best, if not the best line in the nhl" riiight
