Anybody know the story on Jason Doig???

This kid broke in with the Caps a few years ago and looked like a real keeper!


He skates really well and moves the puck well.  He was never overly physical, although more than big enough to handle the rough going.


He didn't play last year at all...according to the TSN stats...and he is totally unrestricted I believe!?!?!?!


What gives??? 


This kid might be a young Karl Dykhuis...only a much better one in terms of skating and puck movement!

 I've definately seen him play for the Caps at least two seasons if not longer.


 Good question!


 Is he over seas playing?
