I just looked at the line up of games tonight on Direct Tv and OLn and the Canadiens game is not listed. This better be wrong, but it also happened two years ago. I got all excited to see a Habs game and sat down popcorn and brew in hand an Nothing Na Da.

Yeah there is a reason for this.   It is only being broadcasted on RDS.  Nor TSN or Sportsnet (Ottawa's affiliate) is carrying the game.

Yes, DirecTV will not show a game on RDS for some reason. I guess they care that it's in French even though us Habs fans would gladly watch it, even if we can't understand it.

But the worst thing I've ever seen DirecTV do for a Habs game was have it listed in the guide, but the game never came on the channel. It just had the screen that said "DirecTV Sports" for the entire game. But thankfully that one was on SRC too, so I was saved.

So yeah, with DirecTV and NHL Center Ice, it's no guarantee 100% every game will be shown.

I just realized the same thing an hour ago and I'm really pissed about it. I don't understand why they don't carry rds games, and I don't get why Ottawa doesn't have a stable network. I'm pissed off, and I hope this is the only time this happens this season.

Hey, I just looked on my cable listing ( the one on the box itself) and now it's showing center ice with the game on the first channel, so maybe it was a mistake, because center ice's website doesn't have it listed. Or maybe the staggering pressure of the Ottawan population of NY was too much to resist)
