Usually I just like reading the posts on this board, but I had to sign up so I can defend Theodore. Quite frankly, I don't think he played that badly tonight. The first goal by Steen was clearly Ryder's fault - he coughed the puck up, resulting in at least a 2 on 1, and on the replay you can see him diving towards the shooter, with another Leaf coming down the middle. How can Theo commit to Steen unless Ryder commits to taking the pass away? Domi's goal looked like it was deflected - at least the commentators thought so, and Stajan's goal - well, fair play - one-timers from the top of the circle like that are going to go in sometimes. Nobody's panning Belfour for letting in Souray's drive from the point. It was a nice shot. As for Antropov's goal, somebody has to clear him out of there. FYI - Theodore and Belfour had exactly the same save percentage tonight (0.8). Check out the scores around the league tonight - I think save percentages are going down, and GAA up, at least in the short term.
i agree i think theo played great to night i think there to hard on theo after all we are 3-0.after all the habs won tonight and beat the maple laughs lets enjoy the big win.
GO HABS GO 4LIFE.

Well, I'm a fan of Theodore (have his 'vintage' jersey), but last night was not his night. The Laffs really had less good opportunities, their goals came somehow out of the blue. But who cares, the Habs won, that's all that counts! Btw, Theo will need a great play on Tuesday, the Sens are a much stronger team than the Leafs I believe.
