Better yet, who do you think of the perceived improved or great teams will turn out to be busts? I think anyone one of the following may fall flat on their faces:

1) Philadelphia
2) Florida
3) Vancouver

I don't have any particular reasons, but going into the season I would look for these fans to be dissappointed at years end. Maybe they all make the playoffs, but that may be all.

Tampa may be a bust. The fact that the Bulin wall is gone will factor in greatly........

2 Habs 5th (Detroit is a western team) 1 Philly 2 Ottawa 3 Tampa 4 Boston 5 Montreal 6 New Jersey 7 Atlanta 8 Toronto (sorry boys Pittsburgh misses the playoffs)

3 Kovalev and Koivu will be 1-2 in scoring both over 80 pts. Ryder will be third with 65pts.

4 Kovalev will lead in goals with 35

5. Theo will be a hab for the length of his deal.

6. Sidney will score 25-30 goals

7. Souray will not be hurt, but his offensive production will drop from 03-04

8. Markov will be the leading Defenceman in pts, Souray will steal lead goals though.

9. Habs will trade for a physical defenceman in January

10. Markus Naslund will lead the league in Pts.

2 - Habs 2nd in division, 5th in conference (is Detroit in the conference now?)

3 - Points Koivu

4 - Goals Kovalev

5 - Theo in for next 2 years

6 - Sid will bag 27, though Ovechkin scores more points on a worse team

7 - Souray's good to go all season, rests for 2 games

8 - Dandenault might lead in D points, but it will be close with Souray

9 - Habs won't trade Theo. Maybe they'll trade Danis for a D or low picks

10 - Points leader top 3 - Heatly, StLouis, Mario

I found this on espn and was quite pleasently surprised, because I know of many sites that count the Canadiens out completely, they have them finishing 5th in the Eastern Conference. They also said on another part of the site that Jose Theodore will win the Vezina. Interesting...and what a season it will be.

I had made some bad predictions in October, particularly with

#1, #3, #6 and #10

But I was right on the buck with

#5 - Theo will not last the whole season as our #1 goaltender; Yann Danis/"Crystal Ball" Huet will become favorites. Money will get to Theo's head and unfortunately for us, he will bust.

***Notice that I was the first to give him the nickname of "crystal ball" !!!!!

#8 - Markov will be leading defenceman in goal scoring.

#9 - Habs will trade THEO in January.

Just call me the sports NOSTRADAMUS!!!

At least I got Ovechkin right. Figured Theo wouldn't last his full contract but thought at least 2yrs of it.
